Wooten said he did not see the harm in the photo, which he said was made by a friend who spliced a picture of Wooten's head onto a shot of another man's body. "When I first seen it, I pretty near died laughing," he said.
Yes, people can be that stupid.

He'd be good for business. The body had a sack over it. People should lighten up. Knees, bare chest, so what? I wish I'd seen that joke. My kind of greeter.

What's really sad is that a guy has to try this hard in order to get fired from Wal-Mart. Incompetence won't do it.

Wooten's application for unemployment compensation was rejected by an administrative law judge, who said "a reasonable person would know the act of showing a naked body wearing a Wal-Mart sack would not be good for the employer's business." Put this guy on the Supreme Court.

Don't people have sense of humor anymore?! Geez, is he 38 or 88? It makes a big difference.

How come it's always the old guys handing out semi-naked pictures and never the pretty check-out girls? Huh? I feel disenfranchised here. Where's Jesse Jackson? I wanna sue somebody! RAR!
(o: This post is smiley captioned for the humor-impaired. :o)

This joke came out years ago when the Clintons were stripping the military to pay for free needle programs. The one I got had a shpeel about how much USAF retirements were being effected. I thought it was cute but I can see how it would be inappropriate for the work place - especially if that workplace was Walmart!

Dean L. Wooten, 65, was accused of greeting customers with a computer-generated photo of himself in which he appeared to be naked except for a carefully placed Wal-Mart bag and of telling customers that Wal-Mart was cutting costs and the sack was the company's new uniform.
What, he made printouts to show customers as they walked through the door? He is an idiot!

Apparently, he thought he was being funny. After all, when he "first seen it", he thought it was funny as hell.
