I contacted the readers representative at the San Francisco Chronicle about the misleading/false headline on the article. He acknowledged it was incorrect, and was contacting the copy desk. -- If you wish to also contact the readers rep, POLITELY, his email is readerrep@sfchronicle.com
Nicely done, sir, and thanks for serving.
Thank you.
Amazing. Someone actually believed they could convince people Kerry could generate passionate cheers among the majority of the military, which is what they hoped to accomplish.
Thanks for your service.
Alert: In a stunning development a major west coast newspaper editorializes news coverage, on, of all things, Kerry and Iraq.
Ping for color me shocked.
My response to the SFgate:
Look folks,
You know the Senator was only greeted with a minimal response by those ordered to interface
with him had to do their duty. Surely 99.9% of those that had to be in his presence would have much
prefered he never showed up. Get a life will ya. Surely the senator's war years and afterward record
will stay with him till he is in the grave and long afterward . When you publish such manure it simply indicates you like most of the news media simply have no honor nor sense of honesty. The senator made it perfectly clear prior to, and during his campaign where he has stood over the years on national defense, and a strong military. Hey, why don't you write a detailed article about his deliquency from attending senate meetings on Intellegience. Lets see if your capable of presenting a balance view point.
With less then friendly regards,
George from PA.
Acknowledged the headline was incorrect? You mean someone at the chronical actually listened?
