That would be a correct assumption. The local media coverage of this election debacle - especially the editorials - has been shameful and down-right embarrasing.
Democrats on Thursday said they believe a revote would violate the state constitution, which requires that the governor be elected at the same time as legislators.
The Democrats just stepped in it. If there is a revote for governor, there could also be a revote in all legislative contests. If public opinion continues to boil over about this, a revote would not only produce Gov. Rossi but a Republican legislature too.
