Hillary threw some red meat to the left wing base figuring they are good for campaign bucks and the rest of the people will forget by the time she runs.
And if they do, the GOP has her on video to remind the public. Kerry showed better political savvy than Hill did today.
Hill hasn't even begun to show how low she'll go. Most intelligent dems, if that's not a complete oxymoron, know she won't ever be elected. But she holds a lot of markers, knows where bodies are buried, etc., so they play along. They've got to be beating the bushes for a candidate with fewer negatives, but that last group was hopeless.
Here's where Kerry climbs back out of his coffin. If he can blame his loss on bin Laden, he thinks he can rehabilitate his image. God knows why he continues to dismiss the Swift Boat Vets as of no account. They aren't going away, and as
time passes, more of his lies will unravel. But so far, the flunkies he hasn't fired are afraid to tell him the truth, plus he's got all that money -- so he rushes to Iraq to badmouth Bush and the troops, hoping to get a leg up on Hill. It's a soap opera. Breathless question: Will TerAYsa, aka the mealticket, put up with another six months of rubber chicken and Heinz ketchup? I doubt it. Still, if Kerry loses his reelection bid in '06, he'll have to find some other leg to stand on. Hill, too.
One doesn't like to speculate about Bill's mortality, but were he to pass over the rainbow bridge, Hill would campaign as the Widow Clinton. Lots of tasteful, haute couture black Ol' Crusties, oodles of sympathy, and her opponent wouldn't be allowed to nail her on anything substantive because the MSM would go ape. Humongous funeral during the campaign -- bigger than RR, JFK, and Lincoln combined: Bill ought to watch his back and change his will asap. Don't make the mistake of thinking that Hill hasn't already back ordered her widow's weeds.
