Eh, and I know we all love him to death (as most people will before they see the Antichrist for who he is) but what about Ukraine's Yuskchenko...I mean, the day he was elected (again) was the earthquake that's been the biggest natural disaster in recent memory. He also is from Europe, and wants his nation to become part of the EU. The "three that take over 7" bit could mean former soviet states (3, which is half of 6, which is "Satan's Number, assuming the USSR was almost Satan himself, peices of this nation could be considered 3), take over or become part of the EU (or 7, because 7 is the God-ly number, a number which God and Christ use as the number of "perfection"...) and the EU was once good, and most of its members fought against the USSR back during the cold war. Just a big drawn out idea. I know I'm crazy, so sue me, this is america!
The Asian disaster may have been the best known recently, but biggest depends on how long your memory goes back.
If the situation in Revelations does happen, the Bible implies that even good Christians will be fooled. That is why linking current world situations to Revelations is risky at best. I can't imagine it being so obvious.
