Interesting ... I'll have to take a closer look at this in the morning. I got tired of waiting for it to run out of memory on my Linux box, so I killed the process. It's a javascript program that eats memory. Don't know yet what it'd do on Firefox running on XP. Here's what's there:
After looking at the source code it appeared to me to be nothing more than a javascript designed to gobble up all the available memory on your system. It appears to build an array that has 700 elements, each one containing 262,124 bytes of junk characters for a total of about 179MB of garbage in memory. The hard drive spinning is the system using additional swap space from the disk to store all that junk. It took about 2 minutes to run on my somewhat beefy system using Mozilla 1.7.3. No spyware installed.
