Forget them all. I cancelled my cable completely. Anything that's worth watching, I download via BitTorrent. Full HDTV quality with commercials ripped.

I've seen some excellent Canadian and British programming that is unavailable here except through BitTorrent.

Forget to record a show? No problem; download it via BitTorrent. The internet has become my Tivo.

You need to be real careful. They've gone after/shut down the major tracker operators and there is nothing anonymous about your use of the BitTorrent protocol as a peer. I use BT myself to get open source material but never copyrighted material.

If you haven't already, check out Corner Gas. It's the funniest show to come along in ages. Season one is on DVD now, a bargain at $25.
