Does anyone really think Kid Rock will use the "f" word at this party? C'mon. And Wildmon is really showing his age. Someone tell him that Lawrence Welk is dead!
To: Columbine
If I remember right he supported President Bush in 2000 as well.

Kid Rock is one of the few celebs who actually support Bush and the troops. I will give him props for that. Plus his music rocks.

Kid Rock is a big Bush supporter. And if Michael "pedo" Jackson were performing at the concert I suppose you'd consider that a plus too?

That's chickensh*t if they backpeddle. He has been a staunch supporter of Bush and our troops when most Celebs have trashed them at every turn. He's just singing for pete's sake.

OK Were you on the Cole? We were in Va, Beach the day it was bombed. It was horrible when the phone started ringing, people wanting to know if we had heard from so and so. Hampton roads was in shock.
I know that this is off of the subject, so forgive me.

He's a big supporter of the troops and doesn't go around tootin' his own horn about either. Plus, if you recall, last Superbowl he appeared wearing an American Flag. Unfortunately, it was worn as a "poncho," but I think his heart was in the right place...

Oh Come on! Not all Republicans are bastions of virtue. Some of us wear our hair long. Kick our heels up (though not as high since I turned 40), drink a bit (not me personally, you get the idea) chase the ladies now and then, and curse a blue streak. But we are as Republican as everyone else. I am Pro-life, Pro-Gun, Have little love or trust for our government, worship the prinsiples of our Constitution. Kid Rock walks on the wild side, but he has more in common with Republicans in his views that the Dems. Believe me, he knows he is an entertainer and does not take himself seriously. I am as Conservative and Republican as they come. I just don't look it. Kid Rock doesn't look it either.

Kid Rock is a big Bush supporter...and he supports the troops. I assume he will keep things relatively clean during his performance. Not everyone that voted for Bush is conservative in their music tastes.
To: mariabush
No I wasn't but, I remember the story in the media and a post about it here at FR.

I think some Bushbots would trumpet a cameo by Satan himself if it advanced their cause.

He's an American. So are Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi but I bet they won't be at the Inaugural. :) Kid Rock must be that special kind of American that actually LIKES America.

He turned in a stellar performance in The Adventures of Joe Dirt. The man's a thespian I say!
Look - I suspect ZZ Top will be at one of the Inaugural galas, and some people find them over the line. Not me, of course, but - give it a rest. These are privately funded functions.
