Iranwatch alert!
Maybe it is time for a showdown with these power-crazy whackos. I don't think they will be allowed to 'nuke-up'. Justice will come in the middle of the night...on wings!!!
Did someone say F-117 ???
"Just take the top 50 pilots you have, attach them the best fighters you have, and rock the place"
Wonderful! Majority of their air defense forces are now centrally located. Talk about your opportunities!
Israel will not be within their nuke missile range immediately, but Iraq, for example, will be. The idea that an Iranian nuke is not a big worry is itself worrisome. You can see the half measures that are going to leave Iran as a nuclear power. And if we don't attack before it can use a nuke, how are we going to attack after? And we say the U.S. will not lead a military effort? Unless Israel is planning to do the job later, I say nuke the nuke sites and do it very soon.
Those UFOs heehee...
Isn't that why we put nuclear warheads on cruise missles?
Being ordered to do so, and able, are 2 separate things.
India rejected Iran's demand for a radar system pretty much soon after it was requested, about 3-4 months back.
I think they have probably purchased corresponding systems from the Chinese.
Does the US have any cruise missiles(other than the ALCM) deployed with nukes??I thought most nuclear cruise missiles were disarmed & converted to the conventional strike role.Though the Tomahawk & the ALCM are still technically capable of carrying nukes.
We should thank them -- such a move merely helps confirm the importance of the targets.
"Um, oh yeah, right - we, um, disarmed them all. Yeah, that's right, we don't have any more. We're reducing our nuclear arsenal, yeah, that's the ticket....."
Hello my Israeli friend. That was from an American comedian skit - the character is "the liar" (John Lovitz - Hebrew, no?).
Technicaly we may have - just like our B-2 Bombers are no longer nuclear capable......
If there pilots are anything like Saddams' was during the gulf war, our boys don't have anything to worry about, if it comes down to a 'dog fight'.
I'm thinking it's countdown time. Iran has thumbed it's nose in our direction long enough. It sure would be a shame if most of their reactors had 'accidents' sometime in the near future.
The Tomahawk long range, subsonic cruise missile can attack targets on land (Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM)) and at sea (Tomahawk Anti-Ship Missile (TASM)). The TLAM can be fitted with either conventional unitary warhead (TLAM\C), nuclear warhead (TLAM\N) or submunition dispenser (TLAM\D). On 27 September 1991 President Bush announced a number of initiatives affecting the entire spectrum of US nuclear weapons. The United States removed all tactical nuclear weapons, including nuclear cruise missiles, from its surface ships and attack submarines. The nuclear equiped UGM-109A TLAM-N Tomahawk was withdrawn from service in 1992, though conventional versions remain operational.

[singing] "ka-boom! ka-boom! ya-da-da-da-da-da ya-da-da-da-da-da..."
It'd be a great way to test out the new F-22's.
