I'm with you. Husband and I went on a SCI home tour as guests of a member a couple of years ago. One of the trophy rooms was tastefully done, but the rest were just over-the-top or downright creepy. We've got our share of taxidermy, too, but some of these members are obsessed...
you find yourself expecting to see a stuffed housecat, dog, or old Uncle Ned around the next corner. Still, anything that chaps PETA can't be all bad.
When it comes to mindless trophy hunting vs. PETA, I am reminded of the old adage, "Even a stopped clock is right twice a day."
