"Breaking...", no doubt.
Here is what it will say:
FAKE BUT ACCURATE
Mark my words.
Good one.
Under Scottish Law, slight exaggerations are permissible if they support the point you're trying to make....
My bet is 5 p.m. tomorrow to bury it for the weekend - nothing to see here, they will claim
It will get into the weeds noting problems caused by micro-problems without pointing any fingers.
Then it will propose studies, commissions, and systemic fixes to prevent the same in the future.
Dan will be the "victim" of a "flawed system and process" who did the best he could with what he was given.
I suspect it will come out Friday at 6pm, and ignored by the MSM - who will be concentrating on the Tsunami Story, the Gonzales/Abu Ghraib Story, and the Electoral College Conyers/Boxer Story.
They were fake before they weren't fake.
What a fun day!
The Dems contesting the electors, their planned inquisition of Gonzales (really fires up the Hispanic vote for them, LOL), and then CBS's mea culpa (well maybe a mea culpa, maybe a "youa culpa" or it's Bush's fault, LOL).
More BS from SeeBS...
I heard they stand by the documents and don't know if they were fake or not. Probably the only people in America who still don't know they were fake.
Despite all their intense checking and balancing, far superior to anything on Drudge, forums, or blogs, Rather and CBS were unaccountably fooled by the excellence of the fake documents.
Although it was a matter of seconds before a poster on Free Republic spotted the flaws, CBS was unable to do so (and still can't).
Therefore Rather is an innocent dope, er, I mean dupe and totally exhonerated and anyway, years of service to humanity, etc., etc.
By the way, that Mary person has been promoted to senior producer.
Of course, just like some ther "group" said yesterday.
It's their opinion that it's basically OK to fake the news if you believe in the story. It's pathetic.
How many times has Drudge said this now?
CBS just keeps chickening out.
Doubt we will see it till Rather Retires in March.
"If he hadn't been elected President, this report would never have aired!"
Didn't the Columbia School of Journalism publish an article saying it hadn't been proven the documents were fake?
I'd bet the release will be on Super Bowl afternoon.
