There is a news article out today that Chafee is co-sponsoring a bill with Fienstein to do away with the electoral college system.
If this story is true I'd bet the house that it is Chafee

Yes, its on the thread entitled "Feinstein and Chafee want to abolish Electoral College." It is a direct violation of the guarantee to the states of a republican form of government, contained in Article IV, section 4 of the Constitution. Although it won't go anywhere now, give this country 20 more years of left-wing MSM and public-education dumbing down, along with the entitlement/"I'm a victim" mentality we're sunk in, and it will start getting more traction.
