The Incredibles is a fantastic, pro-family, anti-liberal movie too
Absolutely. It's the first movie that I've seen twice in a theater in years but I'm still a bit surprised that it got that PG rating. While it manages to keep a lot of gritty specifics and most real violence just out of sight, what's suggested in several scenes is really quite dark and disturbing. I'm not complaining about it because I think they did it well and it gives the movie a lot of dramatic and emotional weight. I'm just surprised that they pulled it off with a PG rather than PG-13.
Though it does have some dicey themes for children 12 and under (like the villain's blonde girl seemingly going after Mr. Incredible).
