I'd rather pay $5 for Strawberries. At least I have the option to pay it or not. But forcing me to subsidize some businessman's cheap labor is wrong. WHY does no one mention this? What good is a guestworker program that continues to force taxpayers to foot the bill???
In the West, we're not talking hundreds per year, folks, we're talking thousands.
Give us a break! JOrge, you want to talk guestworker...also talk forcing the businessmen to pay a livable wage to them. We're tired of paying for it.

I tell you what. If you own a tobacco field it's almost impossible to get anyone but Hispanics to work it. I don't care what you offer to pay they won't work period. The people that used to are happy with sitting on their porch stoned on Oxycontin. But I'm not worried. The government is forcing tobacco overseas and it will be over soon. The land will be worthless and the Hispanics will be without migrant jobs but Hell the worthless people on the dole will still be happy sitting on their porches stoned on drugs.
