Arnold's second State Of The State Address to the California State Legislature.
>>Illegal aliens are costing CA *billions*, and Arnold didn't mentioned it once!
You think maybe he just forgot that part when he memorized his lines? ;-)
Here's Nunez and PeRATa with the dem'Rat response.
PeRATa is being very above board,, so far, and is embracing him and his leadership and his ability to make folks proud of their state.. debt-ridden as it is. ;-)
You think maybe he just forgot that part when he memorized his lines?
Maybe he's reading the wrong speech and picked up Bush's speech, since Bush never mentioned the word in his entire election campaign.
"We accept his leadership."
Yeah, right.
I guess that means Nunez will be the Bad Cop.
Nope, Arnold didn't mention the billions illegal aliens are costing us every year, did he? Girlyman. He talked about special interests, and I hope he has the hispanic lobby in mind. He mentioned the elephant in the room. Californians know that the REAL elephant in the room is the problem of several million illegal aliens residing here.
I listened to Ted Costa the other night on radio. He said under his proposed legislation, the judges wouldn't actually draw the district lines, they would just adjudicate the process. ANYONE can draw up a plan and sell it to the judges. It would be up to them to rule on the best plan submitted.
I'm not sold on this yet. It seems like a more complicated process that could be ridden with the same problems we have now.
In California, the Governor has the power to direct the Legislature to legislate on a specified agenda --- a power not available to the President. I'm sure its not something the Democrats are looking forward to in the days ahead. The open secret is the special interests here ARE the Democrats. After all, they are the party of the status quo.
.
Gov. ARNOLD's call to improve California's Budget by eliminating State Commissions that pay its members over $100,000 a year just to meet 2 times a month =

.
ROFL! Good one.
President Bush owes California a lot of money..
whoa ,, Don,
like you bastards have done anything worthy of having that held back and diverted money sent so you can maintain your crony systems and socialist spending programs ..
>>"We accept his leadership."
I believe this... he has governed to the left of Davis.
What's a Dem not to accept?
What a fraud.
No a discount health card like the one proposed by President Bush and passed by Congress. Its not HillaryCare and the Democrats aren't too wild on it. They want another entitlement program.
Nunez should support a secession movement if he feels so strongly about all the jobs that were sent overseas by the feds.
>>>68th District Assemblyman VAN TRAN's 1st Assembly Bill, AB 38
EXCELLENT!
"he has governed to the left of Davis."
not sure I would say that, but he isn't conservative until he acts on most of the things he talked about in his speech.
