I'll certainly go with the first part, but I can't go with the second. I don't want to see government harrassing an individual, but I'll happily see it protect itself from companies where grossly irresponsible people are hired as decision-makers.

The first part pretty much amounts to the second (govt not doing buisness with companies that hire management with these actions on their records).

Weasels that suckel at the government teat rarely have skills outside marketing to the government. It is a specialization. Those that have skills marketable in the 'true private sector' can be thought of as having redeaming qualities.

Still how much of the 'true private sector' could afford to hire someone, knowing that it would preclude them from any government contract.
