Not knowing what to expect, Weller said in a narrative posted on the family website she "prepared for the possibility that the Schindlers love their daughter and sister so much that they might imagine behaviors by Terri that aren't actually evident to others."

The lawyer was surprised only because she was preparing for the idea that maybe Michael and his lawyer were telling the truth. She was just trying to be objective. I'm sure it was a pleasant surprise to know for sure that the Schindlers actually know their daughter and sister better than hubby.

Everyone should click on the link in the article and read the unexcerpted view of Barbara Weller. It is very thoughtful, and I'm glad to see WND keeping up with Terri's story so well.

It also seems to me the way you say...this lawyer knows the claims of both sides, and they are so different, so opposite, that she was waiting to see for herself which side's claims were closest to Terri's actual physical condition. I feel that she believes in the {legal} case of the Schiavos, but had not yet seen evidence of Terri's {physical} state of being, and was very impressed.

"The lawyer was surprised only because"

I didn't want to quarrel. I'm on Terri's side.

I only wanted to comment that it's still possible for people to remain totally unaware of things that are common knowledge to pajamaheeden. If this lawyer was better informed than I at first inferred, great. The only thing I have to say to her is, "Go get'em, Tiger. Sic'em. Crush the enemy, drive them before you, and hear the lamentations of the corrupt judges and lawyers."
