I have 2 'adopted' daughters. They aren't in the military, well, one was, but they found an extra bone in her foot and was chaptered out. She's living with us now until she gets re-established. Her brother totaled her car while she was gone and a bunch of other bad stuff happened to her by her family while she was in the army. The other one has a great husband and two little girls and has really turned around since her terrible life with her 'real' family. It's great to see them straighten out.

There are a handful of reservist that fly Air Mobility Command, from the CCT- Critical Care Teams, to the Aerovac Teams, to the CASF Critical Aeromedical Staging Facilities we run into each other all around the Rotation. I am proud to serve with them. We are not in the actual battle, but we are the best at moving the Wounded Warrior, even if we are AF........

I don't know what you're talking about. Some of my best friends are Air Force.
How do you think a paratrooper gets around?!

I have just met alot of mil, that thinks AF is in the back with the bags. For the most part we are, but when we contribute,it is a beautiful thing. I have seen the gratitude on those Warrior's face. They tell me they will never talk smack about the AF again. We really do have it made in so many ways, I will be the first to admit it. We just have a different mission. But the most precious are my Warriors.

Taking the photo. LOL! Except for the first photo taken last week, the rest are from basic training/AIT. She graduated last March from Fort Leonard Wood. They had a combined basic/ait graduation which was really fun to go to. What was nice about her training, the platoon stayed together for all 21 or so weeks.

"Jeez! I'm getting old!"
I hear you on that! There was one girl who was 17, the oldest was 31, a doctor from Venezuela who's now a citizen, but most were about 20-21.
