here in Ky. You have to sign the book to vote...I assume every state has some variation on this.

I show up, give name and address. I do not show ID and do not sign anything. (My town has 2,500 residents and one precinct.)

This year, I was a poll worker in NC, and was told the books and ballots would be studied by Bd of Elections for two yrs.

Also, we have to sign a book in order to vote; and I was told that the signatures would be checked with voter registration form (new registrations I'm guessing).

No ID required.
