We can all learn remote viewing as taught by "the world's foremost teacher, Edward A. Dames, Major, U.S. Army (ret.) is a decorated military intelligence officer and an original member of the U.S. Army prototype remote viewing training program. He served as the training and operations officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency's psychic intelligence (PSIINT) collection unit, and currently serves as executive director for the Matrix Intelligence Agency, a private consulting group."

You forgot to mention Ed Dames was sent to the looney-bin and court martialed for his behavior. Ed Dames is hardly a credible guy in the RV world. Too crazy in a world of wild people.
Maj Paul H. Smith (
http://www.rviewer.com) is a much better and reasonable source, and he has just written a book on the subject, and I'm not talking about some wacky book that plays upon people's fantasies, but a book that accurately describes the US governments involvement in RV. ("Reading the Enemy's Mind"). Ingo Swann is an egotist of the highest order, but he happens also to be the guy the CIA originally approached to develop the government program. Hal Putoff is another name, and Hal is a great guy, reasonable, personable and likable and studious.
In the RV world I see two types; one type are "emotives" as they "feel" and have no sense of discipline or order or commitment to keeping to scientific standards. Then there are the "protocols," the original government-trained RVr's. These guys work at it, do not make wild claims, investigate and hold to standards.
Don't know if I believe in the stuff or not, but find it interesting.
