You, Sir or Madam, are a gem. You have what I so far in my life have not yet attained.

I could never in my wildest dreams hope to be the sole subject of some bright person's Ph.D. in Psychology from Johns Hopkins. But you have this chance that I never had. I hope you realize this dream.

Be well... someday.

Not sure what you mean.

I got my PhD in clincial psych in San Diego in 1978 from a very progressive, advanced, high pressure school populated faculty-wise often enough with retired famous people who retired in San Diego for the climate etc.

A chunk of the faculty TRAINED THE TRAINERS of Tavistock. The famous Milton Erickson in Phoenix was a mentor of several. etc. etc. etc.

It was a treasured experience that I wallowed in and enjoyed to the hilt. I also worked my fool head off. We went 3 semesters a year. The field placement; dissertation and course work all had to be done step-by step together.

My term paper on Freud was titled FRODO AND DR FRUD. The prof initially flunked it because it was a biting satire and he claimed I didn't include all the points of the psychodynamic stuff that he insisted must be included for an A. I asked him to read it again. He did and gave me an A+. Wish I could find a copy. It was really funny.

Thanks for your friendly reply.
