I've been away from FR for a bit. What's a "getty image"?

A day or two after first hearing about the tsunami, the thought popped into my head that maybe it was some kind of justice meted against that part of the world for harboring so many terrorists...

Getty, like Corbis (and the famous Kerry/Fonda photo) licenses images and does not like FR to link to the images (although Corbis had no problems with Snopes using the images for free ON THEIR OWN SERVER, including the hoaxed composite image which in the absence of a court order HAS no license as it is an "illegitimate creation" by another artist; Corbis' legal team seemed satisfied with just the inclusion of copyright data).

The media does not like FR. We have to play along even though we see our fair use rights trampled.
