I have three beautiful, life-consuming children. Not triplets, but born close together. I also live in the burbs and have a huge jar of mayo purchased from Costco! I wouldn't want it any other way, and feel so blessed to have each of them. Life is what happens to you while you're not being self-absorbed.

Good list. Must be hard to cull it down to only 40.
Here's another one I remebered reading through these:
"I'm not a lawyer, but they've stirred up a lot of hatred," Clanton continued to rail on Fox News Channel's "Dayside with Linda Vester." "We've got thousands of people now very mad, jackballed up - calling these [Sinclair] stations, protesting, threatening boycotts of their sponsors," he claimed. "I think they're going to regret doing this," the Kerry spokesman warned before adding - "They better hope we don't win."

"You, my, hubby and a guest of your choice."
Deal!
I used to really like her, too. "Blue Bayou" is one of my favorite songs, and she could sure sing it!

Great post. As for Vice President Cheney's remark to Lame-o Leahy, we need some more of that candor in the Senate!

Someone who knows where it is ought to post a link to the original article. It's chilling.

3) "I root for hurricanes. When, courtesy of the Weather Channel, I see one forming in the ocean off the coast of Africa, I find myself longing for it to become big and strong--Mother Nature's fist of fury, Gaia's stern rebuke. Considering the havoc mankind has wreaked upon nature with deforesting, stripmining, and the destruction of animal habitat, it only seems fair that nature get some of its own back and teach us that there are forces greater than our own." -- James Wolcott, Vanity Fair Contributing Editor
I wonder what this buttwipe has to say about mother nature these days.....

Yep, that's one of her best. Also "Desperado", that really needs to be sung by a woman I think. I also really enjoyed her performance in that movie "Pirates of Penzance", I guess maybe it's most famous for being the first outing of Kevin Kline, as "Variety" would put it.
Keep your fingers crossed, maybe some day we will be there, front row center!

I had to read number 6 several times. Can this be true? What kind of sick person would actually perform such an abortion? How can this be?
