I am sympathetic to Auburn and think they deserve to be in the title game as the #1 team. However, the VT game is not that big of a knock on So Cal's schedule. The Wolfpack won 17-16. So Cal won 24-13 against VT. Use another argument. You are hurting Auburn's case with this.

Auburn needs to be worried about the Hokies. Va Tech is #9. #3 beating #9 is not going to put Auburn in the #1 slot.
