Have you heard about this Rottie whose owner had a heart attack in the woods (Animal Planet) and the dog dragged him all the way back home? The Rottie had torn his muscles in his legs pulling the guy but he didn't quit. Somehow kept going. Such love, I can't imagine other than God's.
I saw the show about the Rottie whose owner was trucker.
When the dog saw the guy getting mugged and beaten as he walked back to his truck at a truckstop parking lot, she jumped out the truck window, completely shattering one of her front leg bones upon landing and -still- proceeded to run a hundred feet and seriously maul the creep who was attacking her "daddy".

I hadn't heard - thanks for telling me. We have border collie dogs and while they've never done anything like that Rottie did, I think they can do things we never considered. We've found they know when we're hurt, sad, angry, etc.
