I know that the only time any were interested in me was when they were complaining of how badly their boyfriends treated them... One actualy said (without thinking) that she wished she could find a guy like me!... I said, "What about me?" It was like watching a puppy go running into a tiled kitchen floor... Where the feet are moving 100 miles per hour backwards, but he just keeps sliding forward...

LOL! What she meant, but didn't dare tell you, was "I wish I could find a guy like you that I was actually attracted to."

Men see friendship with a woman as a stepping stone to romance. Women see friendship with a man as the place they go once they've determined romance with him is not possible - it's "safe" then to be friends. This fundamental misunderstanding leads men to waste a lot of their lives hoping for things that aren't ever going to happen. If you can't attract her almost immediately, you never will. ;)

Well, it's no big deal any more. Years ago, I came to a new philosophy of life: "I hate people in general, and women in particular!" No more relationship problems!
