Noah's ark? I would love to hear about how the animals made it back to their homes without any food, since the flood washed everything else away. Or how the sloth swam across the ocean back to S. America. Or how the koala's made it without eucalylptus leaves, or any other number of common sense questions that usually get angrily answered "It was a miracle"
There are a few other problems that I see as well. If you were to calculate the rainfall necessary to cover the highest mountains it would be enough to sink virtually any boat ever made. Also, how did the fresh water and salt water aquatic animals survive once the oceans, lakes and rivers had all been mixed together?
Are you sure the anger is not your own projections. Most Christians I know are not angry people (not that there are not exceptions). I know it is easy to see them that way as often the message is hated and the hatred for the message is transfered to the messenger. The message is the most beautiful, liberating message ever imaginable. It is because the carnal mind is at enmity with God that it is often perceived as appalling to those that are in rebellion. My hope is for you and others to look beyond the flesh and carnal mind and see the beautiful, logical gospel of Jesus Christ. This will only happen by the grace of God in response to our obedience, faith and prayers. Hope you make it.
Noah's Ark has long since been found on Mt. Ararat, Turkey. There have been several documentaries made on this (one of the better ones: "In Search of Noah's Ark"). Eyewitnesses. Military aerial photos. Satellite imagery. Models built upon all this.....tested in advanced labs for testing ships (was determined that the Ark was designed to do one thing, and one thing only: float. That, it did and exceptionally well; could take up to 90 degrees of roll without capsizing). Interviews with old folks who actually climbed onto and into it when they were kids. Records of French and Russian expeditions to it.
I personally know a missionary living in Turkey who has been to it and seen it with his own eyes.
Now ain't that a kick in the pants.........
