Commercial DVD's are loaded with Ads and comming attractions. Best thing to do is to insert the DVD and walk away. It stops on the title screen and you save 15-20 minutes of your life when you are ready to watch it.

Movies start 15-20 mins after their advertised start time for more commercials. No one cares. So they continue to do it.

I can't believe the titles some people bought here. King Arthur? To Own!?

Our family rented 3 movies over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend at Hollywood video, each one of them had advertising on them the moment the DVD started the disc. On all three discs, the DVD players FFWD control was disabled, so we muted the TV and visited until the title disc title screen came up.
