BB made 250 mil in revenue each from late fees

Good for Blockbuster!!! I only wish I could find a business model that could make money from morons not smart enough to follow rules. And -- I mean that. With all sincerity. I'm tired of following the rules and being screwed. If I could steal money, I would.

Blockbuster is having a difficult time because the business model is changing. Apparently, you don't know that. You only want to keep ypur rentals as long YOU WANT, wityhout a penalty. Sounds like a (gasp!) LIBERAL.

They've been changing for years and BB has refused to acknowledge it.

I'm more of a supporter of owning a title rather than renting. I own around 1,000 titles in my DVD library and haven't rented a title in years.

Wrong. They made money exactly because people were following the rules. That is, they paid the late fees when they did not turn the videos in by the specified date.

It is no different than a rental car that you decide to keep past your original turn-in date. Because you and the rental agency agreed in advance what the "late" fees are, you're not breaking the rules if you exercise them.
