Perhaps they are still prophetic "false labor". Keep watching for the effacement and dilatation - "the desolating abomination", for which an altar must be raised, dedicated and operating. Only then can it be desecrated.

The abomination that causes desolation is when the Anti-Christ occupies the rebuilt Jewish Temple and proclaims himself to be GOD Almighty. This will happen AFTER Jesus returns for the Christians, and BEFORE He returns to judge the world.
