As I remember, I think I remember reading that the Indonesians turned away the Israelis with aid.
There are very graphic, and broad photos at http://www.ogrish.com, BUT be WARNED....ogrish is NOT for the faint of heart. It's down right gruesome. But there are photos there that can give you an idea of the scale of devastation and death.
...truly a terrible and sad place over there right now.
We have a good friend who works for a missionary organizaion, New Directions. Not that my word here is worth much, but through him we've been impressed that donations to New Directions is well allocated. Their website is http://www.newdirections.org. They are assisting in the relief efforts for this tsunami now.
