Not all Canadians are bad people. The west is fairly conservative. Then again, they are more attached to reality than the french quebec sector ever dreamed of. liberals, where ever they are found, are a disaster to the living. Just take a look at the Washington state govornor's race...

Ottawa is contributing 40 million. Ontario is giving 5 million. Private donations from Toronto area residents are approaching 10 million and growing. Major corporations are piling on. Doctors and other med pros started heading to the region the day after the incident. You can make donations in Toronto at any bank, police station, firehall, most churches and synogogues. The City of Toronto is rapidly looking into what direct help in the way of expertise they can send (disaster relief, emergency services, etc). When all is said and done it's entirely possible that Canada's contribution will dwarf all other nations except the U.S.
