I imagine too many seniors whine too much; in the 1980s while unemployed due to work injuries I drove my $100 '69 Dodge to a church for the gov't cheese, butter etc. where a bunch of old ladies with parlor hairdos and very late model Olds,Pontiacs, etc made snide remarks about my "youth and laziness" pitched just loud enough to be sure they were heard. I bet not one of the senior citizens was dealing with the severe chronic pain I endured until my back surgery some months later.
Personally I have long held in contempt those who believe reaching a certain age is an automatic ticket to free medical care , an rv and vacation home ,late model cars and vacation cruises on at the younger people's expense.
WE seldom hear from or about hose millions who retire quietly but we sure hear enough from the GIMME crowd at AARP !!!!
