Nice HawkEyes on the OBL T-shirt in the picture.

You didn't Photoshop that picture did you?

I was looking up a map of the affected areas and Indonesia seems to have been hit hardest.

From the CIA World Fact Book, Indonesia is 88% muslim.

Sometimes foreign aid money is well spent (goodwill, political influence, etc), but giving it to a muslim country is a waste.

They'll still hate us.

Correction:

Found a better map. animated Tsunami Map with death tolls, requires FlashPlayer

Sri Lanka took a big hit, as did India.

Sri Lanka 4,500
Indonesia 4,185
India 2,300
Thailand 289
Malaysia 42

So just give money to our "allies". Indonesia gets nothing. Let the ragheads take care of their own.

You've gotta be kidding. Goodwill? Political Influence? When has a single dime of American tax hand-outs ever gotten one iota of goodwill from those who benefit? And the Political influence is ALWAYS a one way street here, Our politicians are influenced by foreign lobbyists. Politicians from other countries don't benefit the US at all. On the other hand, our policies DO affect others, and they want to buy our legislation as much as they can to benefit themselves.(Especially if they can get the extra benefit of the US hurting itself along the way.)
