Could someone confirm that number? FOUR hundred thousand? Not 100,000?
400k is the projection after adding in the 2 towns that sound like they were utterly destroyed. The official number is already around 140k confirmed dead.
This is Indonesia ALONE. This is not including the death toll in Sri Lanka and elsewhere.
Don't forget, with the spectre of disease to follow, the numbers could easily mount one million either directly or indirectly killed by this tsunami.
Horror of horrors.
An Indonesian official is saying that a city of 150,000 and another of 80,000 have been completely wiped out. No buildings and no peple left. There are also several inhabited islands that have been wiped out.
You can't confirm a guess...they are saying it MAY go that high.

I think it may go to 200,000 though.
I'm worry that it may reach one million. This is one huge mess. These governments don't even know how much citizens they have.
