Considering all the up front money she spent of her own for the wedding, "pushing it off" isn't an option.

He's rich, she had nothing. I doubt she put up anything. In that case, it puts the pressure on him to not request the pre-nup -- he'll lose money if he delays.

And besides, there is a disparity in bargaining power.

Women dream of their wedding days and it means a lot to them for everything to be perfect. Men don't.
