The white line is the wave. I imagine the blue is mountains in the background.

Look at the 3rd pix and you can see 2 waves, one right behind the first and MUCH taller. Judging from the boats, I
d guess that each wave was 10-15 feet, making the total 30'.

If the blue area is a land mass, wouldn't it still be visible in the 3rd photo?

Isn't the "white line" merely the spray where the actual wave is swelling and tipping?

I got the impression that these are not like "waves" as we in this country think of them.
