Carter is about as close as we have come to the Manchurian Candidate. Maybe tied with Clinton.
As far as I can tell from online research, Brooke Hart (Salkoff) graduated from Stanford in 1991. Timing wise, this would suggest she interned at the Justice Department during the Clinton Administration. Thus she's just another Democrat apparachnik hired as newsreader. Her working at PBS, CNN and NPR says it all.
