All I wanted was to hear what the days weather was going to be, so I turned on the local pre-Today show newscast. I wasn't really paying attention to it until they stuck in a network feed from NBC on the subject of the Tsunami relief.
The blow dried network babe, Brooke Hart, of whom I have never heard, began to list the contributions of different countries. She then spouted this gem. "The United States pledged 35 million in aid, a figure that is what the nation spends in SIX HOURS in Iraq."
About three or four paragraphs later, apparently as an aside, and as if one didn't have anything to do with the other, she just happened to mention the ships that make 90 thousand gallons of water a day and the plane loads of food, medical supplies and other needed supplies.
I'm sorry...it just pissed me off folks.. Anyone know where I could write to complain about this crap?

I have noticed this bias on two other channels. As I passed thru CBS this am. Harry Smith pointed out that Spain pledged twice as much as US. Similar thing last night. Quickly changed the channel.

At least she didn't take up the Libs' mantra that the inaugauration will cost more than $35 million.

Just like ABC snooze, it is hate America first, then the Military.
I heard ABC all day long reporting that American P3 "Spy Planes" were assisting in the search for survivors. (The P-3 is a Long Range Patrol Aircraft, only the Chinese and ABC snooze consider it a Spy Plane)
The Lamestream isn't biased, they are overt propaganda TOOLS.

I'm sorry...it just pissed me off folks.. The old media will do this to you every time.
I suggest finding a local talk radio station and get your weather from them.

Actually, her facts are wrong, the $35 million is just the initial aid package. But beyond that, $35 million goes a long, long way in that part of the world. Anyone ever ride the bhat bus?
As for Iraq, true, we're spending a lot of money there, not to restore infrastructure "ravaged by war" (it wasn't), but ravaged by a DECADE of ineffectual UN sanctions...

She is probably oblivious to or supports the kind of evil we are fighting in Iraq.
