I work around a bunch of Marines from Camp Pendleton. You wouldn't believe how the most conservative of them start in with the "you don't need an assault rifle" stuff.
Lots of vets think that way. Don't like guns. Prefer to stay away from 'em. They're really such nice people. The military should quickly teach them a bit about what the constitution means before asking them to swear an oath to defend it. Of course high schools used to teach that, didn't they?
Wow, that's not good to hear. I do hear that from lots of civilians, which is where my Bill of Rights/Needs gets a lotta play. Leaves 'em with their mouths wide open, no rebuttal.
