I gotta tell ya, buddy... After Israel, the single most valuable ally we could possibly have in any sort of war against islammic terrorism would be Russia, but it will never happen if we go on treating Russia like a bunch of assholes. Other than that, the chances of George Soros being on the right side of ANYTHING is about like the chances of the sun coming up in the west tommorrow morning.

What if Putins team IS a bunch of assholes? You can help Russia only if you will support democratic changes there, like now in Ukraine. But you dont care about Russia or Ukraine, you want only use them for your particular interests. But you doing this in the same style like FDR towards Stalin, very naively.
When Soros supported democratic movements in Poland or Czech Republic then no one dare to say that this is wrong, now suddenly it is wrong. Some say that he supported such organizations in Serbia or Georgia and what? Now these countries start to become a normal ones. Even if he supported orange revolution (no real proofs yet), I dont see nothing wrong, cause they have little regime in power.
I think that you just transferring animosities among Americans to international policy. Stop being selfish!

What if Putins team IS a bunch of assholes? Putin strikes me as the best leader Russia has ever had since Tsar Peter. Russians were literally starving five years ago largely due to the machinations of the oligarchs and people like Mark Rich and George Soros, and Putin has put a stop to that.

I dont know what sources you read but in the last ranting of The economist Russia had around 106 (?) place among 111 (?) countries. They count GDP, standard of living and many other aspects.
Putin is better president than previous ones, no doubt about this, but he is still bad president. In foreign policy even very bad.
Do you know how many Russian life cost to fulfill visions of Peter the Great? For example Petersburg?
