This area is not known for earthquake activity. It located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas just south of Yosemite National Park. This area is about 25 miles west of the Mamouth Mountain which is known for its earthquake activity.

It's the 2nd Coming! That and volcanoes that have been gassing for two years plus the heavy snows in the NE four years ago and the hurricane season of 1928: what else could it be?

A 3.6 earthquakeWould that wake anyone up like the gale force winds we had here on the FL Gulf Coast last weekend?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
So do you have memories of the 1928 hurricane season?
To: notpoliticallycorewrecked
3.6? Hey, my hanging plants are swinging and my dishes are (maybe) rattling.
Sheesh.

Why has Kofi Annan not made an immediate pledge of condolence about this and where are the world's donations to replace any dishes broken? Preoccupied selfish bastards they are.

So, you do remember it well.
To: notpoliticallycorewrecked
I believe there has been a swarm around the area all of the way up to Quayles Camp in Nevada. The third rock is adjusting from that hissy fit the other day.

3.6 is like bad gasIOW, one sleeps, while the other holds their breath.
To: notpoliticallycorewrecked
A 3.6 is nothing! Not too interesting to report quakes below 6.0 unless some people die (like from shoddy construction in Iran or something)
