I think you're right. Clinton would be perfect for the job...His ability to sound serious and compassionate while not doing anything of substance, and his ability to milk a system for corrupt gain. He'd be the perfect UN General Secty.
He's continually on the move for that UN gig because he knows the corruption he did as POTUS doesn't come close to the kind of cash he can steal in the UN.
