I wouldn't be so naive. We gave the Britons the extra push they needed to go on the offensive, and saved the entire European continent together in the 40s. No one appreciates it.

The world will always put on a fake smile towards the US's generosity for a couple of years, and then revert back to despising us. Nowadays, they aren't even doing that much.
