Hi Lori...bet your counting down the days until Inauguration. You can bet I'll be there in spirit. BTW...don't know if I told you I was elected Vice-Pres. of our Rotary Club...will take over the Presidency in 3 years. YIKES! (They caught me at a weak moment when they asked me to run!)
Hi Aeronaut. I've been kind of AWOL lately and also have put my flying lessons on hold as I've been busy with work and getting dad settled into our household. But have enjoyed your aviation pings! (as does Mr. D.) The one about the plane emergency landing on the semi just floored us!
WOW gail...I am VERY VERY impressed with your tile job. We are so BAD with home projects. Have the best of intentions but severely lack in "follow through". Hope your visit with your youngest was good. Was thinking about you all weekend. ((((gail))))
A quick hello to a few of my favorite Finest gents! Always enjoy your warm and cheery greetings here!
I always like to go back and revisit some of the threads, too. I have a folder with ALL of the Hall of Fame threads saved, but the only one that is really necessary is the current one. :)
Quick hello to some special finest friends.... Weinie...you GO GIRL...you did so well getting GW elected...bet you can certainly defeat Hillary!!!!
LOL!! Gotta be on guard for those "weak moments". ;-)
I know you will do just fine as Rotary Pres. Just remember, DELEGATE! JK says that's the only way you can do it. LOL. He is "sort of" enjoying his year, I think....but says that having to run the weekly meetings is a little difficult. If it was only once or twice a month, it wouldn't be too bad, but to have have to prepare for a meeting every Friday is rough. His year will be up sometime next summer. All of his projects are going well, so that somewhat makes up for the stress of running weekly meetings.
I am so sorry that I won't get to see you at the Ball, but I understand why you can't go this year. I was looking forward to meeting Aqua also, and it is not going to work out so she can go either. :-(
Thank you, Aunt Billie. It beats "mascot." Can't you just hear anybody cheering, "All for the Weinies stand up and holler!"?
Weinie
Hillary is history!
I wonder if they would let a carpet-bagger from Rainbow Bridge run for the NY senate? Hmmmmm
Weinie
Don't let go of your dream to fly. Don't.
Hi Billie! The holidays are going fine, and I'm still on my break away from classes. I've been busy working on projects, though, so it hasn't been too much of a break. ;-)
Hi dutchess! It's nice to "see" you. I hope you are having a great day today.
My youngest comes here long enough to eat then leaves, the first sign of WORK and he finds an excuse to leave. The eldest wasn't able to get here for CHRISTmas due to weather, they had 19 inches of snow. Ours is finally nearly gone.
Hi Mama_Bear:
Could you add me to the list of Freepers with a family member in the service? My son, Nate, is in Navy bootcamp (does that count?) :-) He will graduate on March 25th.

I will be happy to add you and your son to our Military Prayer list. And YES......bootcamp certainly does count! I am also pinging the others who maintain prayer lists to your request so they can your names too.
It seems like only yesterday that we were flying back to Orlando to see our son graduate from Navy bootcamp (but, in fact, it was several years ago). So, I know exactly what you mean by PNM! :-)
God bless your son in the service of his country.
Thank you Mama_Bear.
I feel so proud to be added to such a list! I kind of feel that we must have all done something right to have raised such fine young men and women. Making the choice to serve in the military is not done lightly.
Thank you to YOUR son as well!! God bless him AND you!
Blessings,

I got it - thanks, sneakers - know you are very proud of Nate!
