Michael Schiavo's attorney, Deborah Bushnell, has repeatedly threatened Terri's family with contempt of court because they dare show these videos of their daughter to the public.

WV Support Groups Slate Terri Schiavo Rally at Capitol

by HNN Staff Charleston (HNN) For the past eleven years Terri Schiavos fight for life has been covered by Oprah, Larry King and CNN, but now within days, Terri Schiavo will be brutally murdered by starvation and dehydration because she requires assistance to eat and drink, according to Vicki Shaffer, her official West Virginia spokesperson.

ADAPT WV, along with ADAPT of Charleston and WVCSDF are joining with thousands across the country that feel that all people have the right to live. On Jan. 24, 2005 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the West Virginia State Capitol grounds, the groups plan a rally to support Terri Schiavos right to live. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us in our fight to save her life, Shaffer said.

Asked why the groups are doing this, Shaffer replied: To send a strong message to the media that people with disabilities lives matter just as much as anyone else. To get rid of some of the lies that other media sources have reported things distributed by her husband who is her guardian. She has not received any therapy to see if her disability would improve because her husband won't allow it. She is not brain dead, comatose or in a persistent vegetative state. She recognizes her family and looks forward to their visits. She has likes and dislikes. This is a person who will suffer for almost two weeks if the decision is made to murder her by starvation and dehydration simply because she has a disability and uses a feeding tube.

Shaffer urged supporters to l read Terri Schiavos web site and learn the truth for yourself and report it, by visiting www.terrisfight.org. Give Terri and people with disabilities the justice they deserve, Shaffer added.
