typical of the NYT...if we hadn't given more money they would be saying that Egeland is right we are stingy....we give more money and they say that we are 'rewarding slanders of America'

note to Mr Egeland: get a clue and stop the lining of pockets over there in your cesspool of corruption that you call the UN. stop handing supplies to dictators as you take them off the boat and you will see less hungry children.

The business about "rewarding the slanderers" my comment, not theirs. The NY Times wrote an editorial just a few weeks ago claiming that Americans are stingy when it comes to giving to charity, so they apparently agree with this idiot.
