It is my fondest hope that the so called MSM continue it's free fall until they are gone.
So-called, indeed. I don't know why 'freepers', particularly, are so caught up in this MSM acrostic. It describes nothing. The LM, the leftwing's mainstream, extends far beyond the NY Times and ABC News. For a free fall to occur, you have to see academic debate return to PC-zones called college campuses, where a majority of those in graduate tech programs might be foreign nationals from Communist China in various universities. You have to hear it in the music, now promoted to leftist effect (though it seems that as the 'boomers' age, pop music becomes less important in their lives - back to their parents Montavani, perhaps?). You'd have to see a change in corporate suites, where there isn't the desire for PC-reeducation seminars. You'd need to see it in the sitcoms and dramas. The Gilmore Girls wouldn't be bitching about 'lying Swift boat captains', but about one lying Swift boat Lt (jg), instead. When you walked into a gallery, you wouldn't see ugly art from Dali or Pollock or whoever else. When you went to the bookstore . . . well, etc.
So, the LM. The press is a small part. And even if it did return to a competitive marketplace of one newspaper, one broadcast against another, what about the rest?
