Whoah! I've followed this whole thread and been quite delighted at the mix of serious, drastic, jovial, cutting, etc. and didn't see that coming. If it's about America, I am the first one standing in the "this is how it is and these are the rules of our society if you want in" line but, truth stands above America, for she can err. Goodness is good. America has always been about improvement when corrected. That's how we got here! KF and everyone on this thread, in speaking positively about SEAsia, has spoken about those things to which all freedom loving people strive. Don't be silly. Eurotrash are atheists. They haven't been to a church in years. They won't even mention God in their constitution. You and I must be talking about two different beasts.
Theocons are a different matter, but they aren't eurotrash, they're real Europeans. I doubt many of them show up as degraded package tourists on southeast Asian beaches.
I know what I saw on the beaches of Thailand, some of those people are unbelievably rude slobs.
