What happened in this particular district is that they ran a republican and a democrat and Jore. The district is very conservative but they split the vote.

With the governor what happened was he deceived the people into believing he was conservative, he had no record to prove he was not and talked like he was. He will either govern like a republican or not win reelection.

As a whole Montana has more and more Californians and the likes moving in but the major problem as I see it is: there are certain things that are important to Montanans....guns, property rights, along with a leave me alone attitude I can take care of myself, but some have no common sense to see passed a false front.

That is my take.

With the influx of dingbats from WA and CA, we've seen Socialism run amok in the ballot initiatives. Higher taxes, levies, etc. They come in here and start pushing their nonsense on the rest of us. I hope that many of you from Montana who smoke will quit on New Years Day. Tell those Socialist bastards they need to find their health care tax somewhere else.

Well, I'm one Californian that moved to Montana because I was tired of swimming upstream in a liberal state. I would no more dream of voting for a Democrat than I would than I would of joining the Communist Party or supporting the Palestinians.

I was appalled that so many Montanans would split their tickets and vote these Dems in, but the truth of the matter is that the Republican Party made a weak showing all over the state. In the Flathead we had Republicans supporting the Dem candidate for supervisor! We had a Republican running with a Dem for governor! Brown's ads were just terrible.

If the Dems are allowed to have there way, they'll start banging the drums for money for the schools. The schools won't get any better, but they'll get very expensive, if California is any model.

Isn't this woman that got the state seat come from California? And didn't she sit on a board of education there? And isn't she a California Democrat? People here are way too lax about Democrats. They need to get down to Santa Cruz County and catch an eyeful...
